The beliefs of Elevate Church can be summed up in one simple statement:
“We Believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God, and the basis for our beliefs.”
It was written by human authors who were inspired by the Holy Spirit and is our guide book for living the Christian Life.
God is good. He is our kind and compassionate loving Father who is faithful to His people He is great. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever present.
God became Man: He is 100% God and 100% human. He lived a perfect sinless life, born of a virgin birth and is the only one who can reconcile man to God by dying on a cross for our sins and rising again.
He is everywhere: The Holy Spirit is with believers and comforts us, convicts us of sin, guides us, gives us spiritual gifts, and leads us into truth. He gives us the power to change and become more like Jesus.
Three in One: He is the One True God revealed in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Man was made in the image of God: We were created to have a relationship with Him, but our sin has separated us from Him and His purpose for our lives.
God’s only way: The death of Jesus on the cross is the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sins. Salvation happens when people place their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior. Salvation is a gift and cannot be earned.
Everyone will spend an eternity either with God in heaven or separated without God in hell forever.
Jesus will return someday and everyone will have a final judgement before God. Those that know Him will spend eternity with God forever.
God’s Team: The Church is the community of believers united together to love and equip one another to follow the teachings of Jesus and obey his commands. The Church has the responsibility to remember the Savior in communion and continue to baptize followers as the church continues to share the Gopsel Message.
The Church should be the “funnest place on the planet” as we share the greatest message in creative and compelling ways.
We will be united as a team to carry out the vision of Elevate Church.
Honor up, honor down, honor all around.
We will be thankful for who God is and the blessings He gives us daily. Be the one to give thanks!
